Whether it is an ill-advised bowl haircut, gappy teeth or unforgivable fashion choices, most of us have at least one family photograph that evokes stomach-turning embarrassment.
Treasured by grandparents the world over, many parents or couples shun the natural environment, instead choosing to inflict the horrors of posing in a photo studio on their nearest and dearest.
And while, for most, this means a day of enforced smiling – or at worst matching jumpers – some families see the shoot as an opportunity to document their unique passions.
