California's death toll from the flu this year now stands at 342, but the season appears to be winding down.
The latest report from the state shows a decrease in the number of fatalities, hospitalizations and outpatient doctor visits.
Amongst the total number of cases this year, the majority tested positive for the powerful H1N1 strain.
This season, health officials in Sacramento County have confirmed 28 deaths.
El Dorado County has seen two.
Yolo County lists one.
